One square per site. When you search, each fills in as its answer comes back.

How it works

  1. 01

    Every site at once

Social networks, code hosts, forums, games, art and music communities. Each profile address is opened in parallel, so the whole search takes a minute or two.

  2. 02

    Read, not guessed

A page loading isn't proof. Each one is scored on about 30 signals, and a match only counts once it differs from what the site shows for a username that can't exist.

  3. 03

    Nothing kept

No accounts, cookies or trackers. A search and its results stay in memory for ten minutes so a dropped connection can resume, then they're deleted.

A match means an account with that username exists. It doesn’t tell you who owns it, and plenty of people share a handle.
